The 601 Stone Cutter is a precise, ball-shaped corundum cutter designed for safe cuticle work during manicures and pedicures. Made of synthetic corundum ( aluminum oxide Al₂O₃ ), it ensures gentle work without the risk of damaging the nail plate. The pink grinding stones do not scratch the nail, and proper guidance of the cutter helps prevent grooves on the nail plate. The 601 model has a diameter of 3 mm (marked 030) and is suitable for operation at speeds up to 40,000 rpm . The cutter is equipped with a standard 2.35 mm shank, compatible with all podiatry cutters available on the Polish market (including Baehr, Gerlach, Orthofex, Promed, Ruck, Süda, Xenox). Corundum cutters are resistant to chemicals, but they wear down faster than diamond cutters, so they are primarily used for delicate cuticle work. They are suitable for dry use only—they cannot be used wet. The tool requires a complete hygiene process: cleaning, washing (ultrasonic bath preferred), disinfection, drying, and sterilization. Corundum burrs are sterilized at 121°C , according to the material's recommendations. Each burr is subject to natural wear and tear. Before first use and before each subsequent use, inspect the tool for any cracks, chips, or contamination.
