The 0.12mm Nickel-Titanium Archwire is a flexible element used in the titanium brace technique, one of the most effective methods for correcting ingrown and inverted toenails . Made of a nickel-titanium alloy (NiTi) , it is characterized by high elasticity, shape memory, and stability during orthodontic therapy.
The arch width is selected depending on the degree of deformation and nail thickness. The 0.12mm variant is particularly effective for thin, delicate, or pediatric nails, as well as in cases where a more subtle force is required to lift the nail edge. Arches are available in four thicknesses , allowing for precise tailoring of therapy to the patient's needs.
The titanium clasp is attached using specialized composites cured with an LED lamp , ensuring a durable, secure, and aesthetically pleasing attachment to the nail surface. This method is especially recommended in the following situations:
-
tightly screwed nails ,
-
nails in children ,
-
very small or weakened platelets ,
-
the need for gentle, gradual correction without surgical intervention.
The bulk package contains 10 pieces of titanium archwires , which allows for multiple applications during office work.
