Podopharm round wire bending forceps are a specialized tool used in orthonyxia for precisely shaping and bending the ends of wire clamps. Thin, tapered working tips enable precise wire shaping, allowing the clamp's shape to perfectly match the nail anatomy, increasing the effectiveness and comfort of ingrown toenail therapy. The tool is CE certified , confirming compliance with medical requirements and safety standards. The forceps are designed for repeated disinfection and sterilization, making them safe for use in a professional office. Before first use, the tool should be inspected and sterilized; before each subsequent treatment, its condition should be checked for any damage or contamination. After each use, the forceps require a full hygiene procedure: manual cleaning, washing (ultrasonic bath preferred), disinfection, drying, and sterilization. The recommended sterilization method is steam under positive pressure at 134°C for a minimum of 15 minutes , with a drying time of approximately 20 minutes per pack. The tool, like all podiatry instruments, is subject to a natural wear process that is not the result of disinfection or sterilization.
