Saltec Class 4 autoclave tests are multi-parameter chemical integrators designed to monitor the steam sterilization process in autoclaves. These indicators allow us to assess whether the appropriate conditions for proper sterilization—primarily the correct temperature, time, and steam penetration—have been achieved during the cycle.
The tests operate over a full temperature range of 121°C–134°C , making them suitable for all standard cycles used in podiatry, beauty, and medical practices. The indicator changes color from yellow to black , confirming that steam has reached the test site and the required sterilization level has been maintained. The product complies with the PN-EN ISO 11140-1 standard (Class 4) .
Each package contains two sets of 200 pieces , ensuring long-term and systematic quality control of the autoclave. The tests are easy to use and constitute a mandatory element of sterilization process documentation in professional practices.
How to use:
-
Place the chemical indicator inside the package to be sterilized.
-
Run a full sterilization cycle.
-
Once finished, check the color of the strip changes from yellow to black .
-
Enter the result in the sterilization process control notebook.
Important information:
-
the indicator must be yellow before sterilization,
