Sorbalgon Classic 5×5 cm is a specialized active dressing made of soft calcium alginate fibers, designed for the treatment of acute, chronic, and difficult-to-heal wounds. It is ideal for deep, fissured, infected wounds , and areas requiring intensive cleansing and supporting granulation.

Upon contact with exudate, the dressing's fibers transform into a moist gel , creating a stable microclimate conducive to the healing process. Gelation also allows microorganisms to be captured and retained within the dressing structure, helping to limit the development of infection.

Thanks to its structure, Sorbalgon does not adhere to the wound , allowing for atraumatic, painless dressing changes and minimizing the risk of damage to newly formed granulation tissue. Each dressing is sterilely packaged and measures 5 x 5 cm . The multipack contains 10 dressings , making it a cost-effective solution for offices and medical facilities.
